I am Able To Raise Cane Again!!

I am able to raise cane again!!

Just a little humor this evening.

About a year ago, I wrote a post about not being able to raise cane anymore and your wondering, what is he talking about?

Well, I was leaving Starbucks, on my way home, what I did not know, is that I had left my wooden cane, a nice cane from Colorado Springs, on the trunk and when I pulled onto the highway, it slid off, right into the middle of traffic and an eightteen wheeler, hit it smack in the middle and the cane was no more, a sad day for me.

But the other day, my friend PJ, blessed me, with a new cane, a wooden cane and I was able to retire the old metal, medical looking cain for the one you see now!

Even in the small things, the Lord’s blesses us.

Many of my friends at Starbucks, said you finally got a cane that fits you, so PJ, thanks, you have blessed me and I am will able to raise cane again!

Blessings everyone!

Paul

    Paul,

So thankful to hear that you have a friend such as PJ. As one who understands about a cane to a person who uses it, it is like a part of the body. Words at times cannot describe it I know. While I only used an “old metal, medical looking cane” - the comments were always “that does not look like you.” I was in my early-mid thirties at the time.

May we continue to see the blessings of the small things. It does indeed suit you more… or at least just from what is evident on this blog of yours.

    Psalm 118:8,

    Hi Camey,

Thank you so very much for blogging by!

Indeed I am blessed to have a friend such as PJ, she too uses a cane.

I get a lot of comments about the cane, because it does fit my personality :)

It has always been in the small things that I have been blessed and for that I am thankful to the Lord.

My user name, Shaul Shachar, on Monday Morning Insights, is Hebrew for Paul Dawn, and I will be using that for my pen name in the days to come, just sort of like the way it sounded :)

Again, thank you for blogging by,

    Blessings,

What a thoughtful gift, Paul. And thank you for the nice email. Richard came home from Emory today. He was wiped out, but that’s to be expected for awhile. He’s gradually getting his strength back from open heart surgery. We appreciate all your prayers.

    Blessings,
    Vicki
