He Brews!!
If there is one thing that the Lord has continuously taught me over the years, is that He really, really does have a sense of humor.
He will use the most unusual things to speak to our hearts to create a hunger within us to want to know Him even more, because He loves our fellowship, our company, He loves our companionship.
He reveals Himself in the simple, everyday things of life, if we will slow down and listen, tuning in to Him!
As I was making a fresh pot of coffee the other day for my daughter, Elise, and myself, with my favorite blend from Starbucks, Sumatra, I was simply enjoying the aroma, the taste, oh how the aroma permeated the kitchen.
As I was tasting and savoring that first cup of the morning, I began thinking, Hmmm, this is really good!
As I was looking out the bay windows in my room, the sun rising, It was then I felt the presence of the Lord, speaking to my heart, Beautiful day, isn’t it? I love it when my children come into my presence. That we spend time together, that we shared the first fruits of the day with each other, we share our love for each other and Oh, how I love that.
In my heart, in my spirit, I sensed His pleasure, that He truly delights in us.
He is a Father that takes pleasure in revealing His heart to us.
He reminds us each morning that He is here to lead us and guide us.
Let us wake each day to that heavenly blend, the aroma of His presence, that prepares us for the day!

Yea, Paul, He does enjoy our fellowship with Him as we enjoy His mercy and grace to us.
Blessings to you.

That really hits home, since I so enjoy java myself … thanks for the reminder. And, by the way … would love to have a submission to A Word Fitly Spoken Magazine … Thanks!
