Times of Transition

Hi everyone,

Just so you would know, everything is well, I ‘am going through some transitional times in my life right now as I seek the Lord in what it is He would have me to do. Regaining the passion to write, to share, to give has He has given me over these last three years.

My sole purpose for Hill Country Thoughts is that it would always be a source of encouragement, a place that I would always be honest, open and real, to share from the heart, from life and most important to share the hope we have in a Father who loves us beyond words.

Sometimes we allow the battles of life to come in and rob us, of strength, of purpose, of hope and it has been a battle that the enemy has waged against me these last couple of months.

I knew the enemy would do whatever He could to silence me but there is a passion, a burning deep within to share all that the Lord has done, to write, to share, to encourage. There are several things stirring within and I would appreciate your prayers.

The Father is teaching me to love again, to passionately pursue Him, for then and only then, can we truly be able to love with true love! That is when we can love fully, that we will learn to have the love of a father, a husband.

That we will love those that He puts into our lives with the full intensity of His love, so we can be the grand-father, the father, the husband that God has meant us to be all along.

I don’t know if I will be a husband again, that is in the Father’s hands but I do know that He has and is making me a grand-father, father, and a friend to others and teaching me to love with His love and only He can do that!

Would you pray with me, that the Lord would write upon my heart His words, what He wants written? I appreciate you all so very much and you all are a blessing to me more than I could ever express in words.

The one thing that I do know, is that His plans for us, as His people, as fathers, mothers, grand-parents, and friends, are good plans and that which He began from the beginning, He will finish!!

Praying with you for His words upon your heart. Asking the courage to communicate those and the faith for when you feel unsure or inadequate. Step out. He will meet you halfway.
