In The Midst of Tears!!

There are some days that everything within me screams out “No more Lord, please no more!” as the physical pain I feel at times rips through my body like a thousand nerves exposed and tears flow.

It is at this time that I realize the price that the Lord paid on the cross for me, for us! That my pain is small compared to the pain, the suffering He bore on the cross and it causes me to stay focused on Him.

It is during these times, He gives me strength, that He enables me to write, to share and declare the awesomeness of His love and His compassion for us.

Through the tears, I feel His presence, His love, His understanding.  Knowing that He is walking with me, carrying me through this time in my life. Through the times of fear, of loneliness, of memories, He is there!

It is through these times that He gives us hope! That in the midst of the dark nights of the soul, He lets us see with the eyes of faith.

In the midst of tears I see clearly His compassion, His heart and like the Psalmist David, I am able to declare His love.

That in the midst of the pain, of the tears, of loneliness, of fear, of wanting to let go, He embraces us, like a Father, He holds us tight and lets us pour it all out and absorbs the pain, the hurt, the wounds and He gives us strength to press on to write, to share and to give what He has given us, to others and that is Hope!!

He takes all that we are, all that we go through and all that we will be and makes us vessels that will shine forth the hope that is within. That from within, we will begin to shine forth the glory of who He is and what He has done and what He is doing within.

So sorry for the pain…it can be so relentless. It can help just to get some breaks from it…prayers that it will cease soon or that God will help you find a way to ignore it! Blessings and prayers…Elizabeth

Your a blessing, what a testimony you are for the Lord’s comfort. I pray He continues to give you beauty for ashes, and strenght to pain, gladness for sorrow and hope for despair. And Lord, I know your character, you are a God that heals. Give Paul a complete healing in Jesus’ name. Amen

Thank you for not hanging your harp on a willow, during this testing time, and thank you for your openness. Here is the scripture the Lord gave me for you to encourage your beautiful faith in Him. That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith - the salvation of your soul. 1 Peter 1:7-9

This makes a lot of sense to me. When things have gotten rough I have thought of His suffering. Or when I have felt awkward being demonstrative in my prayers or worship, I have consider his shame.
