Meet Ollie
Yep, your right, it’s a Teddy Bear, a very special Teddy Bear!
Here I am at 02:30 in the morning, oil lamp lit, setting here at my desk, looking out the window, amazed how the Lord takes the simple things around us to get out attention and speak to our hearts.
Our Father has a real sense of humor, who else would have used my grandkids Teddy Bear, Ollie, to get my attention and remind me that it is only when we maintain an attitude of prayer can we find the strength to walk the path of life that we are on.
That it is in the time of prayer, that we learn to become one with our Father and with the Lord! It is not an accident that my grandkids brought Ollie into my room last night.
The Lord had a message for me, for all of us. That He desires to fellowship with us, to walk with us daily, to be in communication with us as we go about the things that are set before us and He made it possible for us to do so by His Holy Spirit.
It is a lifestyle, a relationship that He is building between us so that we can learn to hear Him, that still small voice, in the things around us, such as my friend, Ollie!
With my grandkids permission, he just might find himself a permanent spot on my monitor to remind me what a friend I have in Jesus, that He sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and I on a daily basis.
Over the last couple of months, it seems like I have been hit and miss with my posting, writing and I know it was a tactic of the enemy to get me off center, off focused, to blur my vision so to speak.
Even as the oil lamp gave me light this morning and reminds me of what the Lord has called me too, so Ollie, reminds me this morning, that it is about relationship, communion and fellowship daily with the Lord, learning to know His voice and to write from the heart.
He has rekindled the flame and breathe life into my heart again and has given me a great expectation, that He will finish that which He has begun in me and you. Look around my friends, you might be surprised at what our Father uses to get your attention!

Hi Ollie!

What a blessing each time I come to your site. I truly enjoy your writings.
I was up early this morning and I just sat looking out my front window as the sun began to rise and I was thinking about how wonderful God is. And how He is always there for you no matter what.
I got a call from Aunt Betty in Toledo early this morning. She called to tell me about our Aunt Joyce for is very ill. She was yesterday that the doctors only give her 2-4 weeks to live. Once I got off the phone with Betty, I prayed for Joyce. She is such a sweet and caring person. And this was so sad to hear. My Mom and Joyce were close. Joyce is claiming her healing, and believing for God to touch her. I am in total agreement with her.
Please keep her and her family in your prayers. We know what the doctors say, but we know what God says about her situation. He is the ultimate healer!
Love to you from Ohio!

Hi Paul,
I too have been stuggling for many months or so it seems only I have shut down my blog each time the enemy shows up. Come by and visit me. Thanks for the continued encouragement you offer to others during some otherwise tough times. Miss talking to ya.
God Bless,
Donna

Agreed. He’s an intimate God who reaches out to speak in individually designed ways of love and direction.
