Merry Christmas From The Georgia Cowboy

CandleBlessingsPaul-vi

Dear Family and Friends,

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you all know how bless I am to be part of the blogging community! It amazes me how the Lord brings His people together, with the internet and blogging being one of the tools in His Hand.

I thank the Lord for the many brothers and sisters in the Lord I have been linked to, who have hearts to share and encourage one another and be there for one another!

I have been under the weather for the last week and I am getting better and by Monday I hope to be back to myself and posting a lot more regular. Also taken sometime to get center a little more on the Lord!

May you all have a Blessed Christmas and may we look forward to a wonderful New Year in the Lord!

Paul, I hope you get out from under the weather, and enjoy your holiday. I too am thankful for the people i’ve met in the blogoshere. They are kinder to me, and more caring than even the people who are supposedly my “friends”. I hope your socks are blessed right off this Christmas, and God fills your heart with love, and peace.

    til later

Take it easy and just know that folks care and your friends need you!!

  24. Luanne Says:

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Paul. And I also pray you are on the road to recovery.

I was sick last week, too, with a real bad cold. I’m trying to rest, as I am singing at a church service on New Year’s eve and then next week I’m going to Arizona to speak.

Please pray for Steve’s family, as his stepfather Ralph died yesterday. It was a horrific ordeal which I will tell you about the next time we talk.

Did you change your email address? I tried to send you an E-card but it wouldn’t go through. Let me know.

Have a wonderful week and I’ll talk to you after the new year.

    Luanne

Hi Paul, belated Christmas greetings to you. I hope you are feeling better now. I got sick over CHristmas and sadly feel like I missed it totally this year:( I am hoping I can get back to a closer relationship with the Lord this coming year. Wishing you a very blessed and healthy 2006.

  31. Caroline Williamson Says:

Must tell you how much your thoughts and gentle dedication to the Lord has helped keep me going through this tough season. I have lost a mother and a daughter in the last few years and you and this blog help hold me together and bring a feeling of calm over my raging sea’s. I get strength in knowing of your struggles and losses and how you hang on and dont give up. I can do it because I see you can do it and you always remind me of how Jesus is always on our side and will carry us along the rugged path if we let him. I do worry about your current flu and pray for your health to return. I got to hear your voice for the first time the other day and it is exactly the kind and soothing sound that I would of expected from you. Even with the flu. God Bless You and may you have a wonderful year in your new state and with Father God. Bye

  32. Paul Says:

    Hi Jason,

    Thank you my friend!

Hope your Christmas was blessed, that you will have super New Year in our Lord.

    Hi Denise,

    Thank you my friend!

Hope your Christmas was blessed and that your New Year will be a super one my friend.

Thank you for blogging by and saying howdy. It sure was good. Still remember those cookies :)

I believe 2006 is gonna to be a year of intimacy for the Lord’s people, for those are willing to say here I am Lord. He is waiting for us.

Actually He is wooing us, desiring us to come to a place of knowing Him, not just about Him. Learning to hear His heart, and in the hearing of His heart we are changed.

Be blessed my friend. Blessing to your family and too you.

  34. Paul Says:

    Hi Caroline,

    Thank you so very much!

I so appreciate your thoughts, your encouragements and for sharing, for it helps me to know that I am doing what the Father has called me to do.

To encourage, exhort others, to let them know, that we are not every without hope, is so important. In the darkest nights of the soul He was always there and the thing that is so amazing was it was not depended on feelings, it was depended on His word, His promise, that He would never leave us or forsake us.

Caroline, again thank you for sharing. 2006 is going to be a year of intimacy, of coming to a place of truly knowing the father, of hearing His heartbeat, knowing that it will change us.

Be blessed and have a super New Year my friend,

    Writing for the King,

    Paul
