He Lives For Us!!
It amazes me sometimes how we miss the simple things of the Lord in the Word!
I read the following just recently: “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25 NKJV
As I read this verse, “He always lives to make intercession,” just really stood out and took hold of my heart and my spirit!
To realize that we have an advocate with the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ is so totally awesome. To realize that He, our Lord at all times, 24/7 is making intercession for us! We have an advocate with the Father and He see’s us through His Son!
As we walk this path called life, He is preparing the way before us. Nothing is left to chance.
That as we call to Him, He hears and brings it before the Father. He advocates for us and when the Father see’s us He see’s us through His Son, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, given new life, new beginnings, leading us in His ways, even during the times we don’t understand why we are on the path that we are on, He is preparing the way, as we yield to Him, trusting in Faith.
As I look back over the nearly last three years, I can now see how the Lord ordained my steps, even when I did not understand, when I was just hanging on by the thinnest of threads, He watched over me as I yielded to Him during the dark nights of the soul, that in the hardest of pain, He was there. I didn’t understand but I knew He was there.
So when I read this verse, it really touched me. To read that He lives to make intercession for us, that He pleads our case, and our Father listens, and He see’s us as His sons and daughters, forgiven and redeemed for a time such as this.
It lifted me up to know that the Lord can use what we have gone through to touch others. That He enables you and I to share this reality with others by what we reflect in our life, in what we write and share.
Indeed He lives, Our Lord and Savior lives to make intercession for us!
Draw strength today from that and realize that no matter what you are going through, you have an advocate with the Father, representing you at this very moment and time!

This is a comfort for those times when we cannot even come up with the words to pray…and knowing that we are being interceeded for especially then! He is our reason for living!!

Paul,
The verse speaks to my heart and I am always encouraged and blessed by the words He gives you. There seems to be so much we don’t understand, but the beauty is knowing we don’t have to go it alone…like you say He is always there for us….Blessings to you my friend…..
