Dear Get-A-Life

Dear Get-A-Life,

I am pretty sure that the e-mail that you used to post at Hill Country Thoughts is not yours but I wanted you to know that I am praying for you!

I have no ideal of your need to attacked me personally with your comments and talking about things you have no ideal about.

I did copied your post and the link back to it’s source and deleted it from the post.

Again, I am sorry you feel a need or find it necessary to express yourself in the way that you did.

If your purpose was to upset me, get my goat, or have me rant and rave, it did not work.

As a matter of fact, it made me stronger in my walk and relationship with the Lord, and lets me know that I am doing what the Lord has called me to do and that is to write and to share from the heart.

Why else would you attack me? My family and assume things?

You are in my prayers!

“Father I do ask that you reach out and touch “Get-A-Life” - touch their heart, let them know your love and your presence, heal the wounds of their heart and let “Get-A-Life” get “Your-Life.”

Again “Get-A-Life” thank you for your comment and for making me stronger in the Lord. I really appreciate it!

OH my…..(((((((((HUGS))))))), Paul! Well, you know that you are accomplishing what the Father wants when you have such things happen. The adversary never bothers when he owns someone. Blessings and keep on trucking along, Soldier of the King!! THE KING IS COMING…probably SOON!! Need to be working when He comes for us, eh?

It is sad when people feel a need to be hurtful on blogs. If they don’t like what they are reading then they should move on instead of being nasty. I had one that kept coming back for a while and then just stopped. U did the best thing possible and that is lift this person in prayer. God bless you Paul

  3. Jan Says:

    Hi, Paul,

Well, you sure did the right thing - praying for someone filled with anger instead of retaliating in kind.

    Thanks for the good example.
    Jan

  4. Paul Says:

    Hi Elizabeth,

    Thanks for the hugs :)

I was surprised at how not upset I was, I was more sad then upset because I knew at one time I had a heart like that, full of anger, etc.

I think of those times, as character building times, especially after the last three years.

Be blessed my friend. Have a super weekend!

    Your brother and fellow-servant,

    Paul

    Hi Meesh,

    I agree!

I shared with my Pastor and a friend, as always they are always encouraging.

I shared with them what I wrote before posting it.

I just prayed, turned it over to the Lord and keep on writing and sharing what the Lord puts on my heart to share.

He is the author and finisher of my faith. He is Master editor and I trust Him to let me know what to share :)

Be blessed Meesh and thanks so very much for blogging by. I so appreciate it when you do.

    Hi Jan,

Thanks for blogging by and for the encouragement!

I was surprised at my reaction, I almost got angry but not quite, because a peace came over me and then I wrote this post. Shared it with my Pastor also.

I have and I am learning that my defense is the Lord, I just have to turn it over to Him and trust Him in all things.

Wasn’t always like this, the last three years have had a tremendous impact on me in so many ways.

    Blessings to you my friend,

    Paul

I missed something. But It sounds like you used this as a way to touch someone with an angry heart with the mercy that is God. Thank you for this site, and for your truth, honesty and sincerity. I’m inspired in my own life to stand firm against the attacks of the world, I was backed against the wall in class and forced to give my opinion on homosexuality, and I truly believe God was testing me, and I could have lied, but I did not. I spoke the truth in love, and God gave me those words, and I am so grateful for Him in those times, He never fails me, each and everytime I have come under attack from my peers in college, He has always come through for me. And they still like me, and that is indeed a miracle. blog on my friend.

Paul, Isn’t it a wonderful feeling to know that our Father knows us so much better than those who think they know us more than He? Thank you for holding your head high. Blessings my dear brother in Christ.

  9. sparrow Says:

God bless you as you reach out to bless, and curse not. Speaking truth but speaking in love. Well done, brother Paul.

    What’d I miss?
I’m sorry someone’s being hurtful. (hug)

What a witness! Paul, I am thankful that you reacted in the spirit and not in the flesh. God uses these types of sandpaper people to smooth out our rough edges sometimes! It’s a shame that “Get-a-Life” feels so threatened by you. You must be making tracks in heaven to have the devil on your tail! Keep the faith and keep your eyes on Christ. You are loved!

  12. G~ Says:

Aw, Paul…Sorry you’ve had an attack of the nasties, but what a wonderful response!! Bravo and God bless you mightily for doing the hard thing.

    ~hugs~

  13. Paul Says:

    Hi Susie,

    Thanks!

It really amazed me,when I received the comment from “Get-A-Life”, instead of anger, I felt a sadness of heart and a peace of the Lord and I know that is the Lord’s doing.

These last three years of my life, have radically changed me in my relationship with the Lord and for that I am very thankful.

I will indeed keep blogging on and I will be keeping you in my prayers also.

    Thanks for the encouragement!

    Hi Mrs Diamond,

Someone made some very hurtful comments but the Lord gave me the peace and the rest and what to share back with them in the post.
