Story Tellers

Story Tellers

We need more story tellers

or some will never hear

The message of salvation

That’s in God’s Word, I fear

For when we read the Book alone

The message can be obsured

If we don’t truly understand

The meaning of God’s Word

So if you’re one that understands

His words and all their glory

Don’t keep them to yourself my friend

Go out and tell His story!

A friend today in church, at Calvary Chapel, Marietta, Georgia, shared this poem he wrote and I thought I would share it with you so that you might be blessed as I was blessed.

    Paul! Your post inspires me.

We must use the gifts given us through our personalities and write from the heart for others to hear about God. You are so right! I need to stop comparing myself to others and just do it the way God intended for me.

Please be sure and tell your friend the poem was extremely timely. Thank you!

    Hi Sparrow!

Indeed we must write from the Heart of God.

You are right my friend, we should not compare ourselves to others, but do it the way the Lord intends us to do it.

We each are unique to the Lord, and He uses that to express Himself through us to others, to share the various aspects of His Heart to others.

Be blessed! I will let my friend know that this was a timely post. I am sure he will visit the site soon also.

    You got it right!
By the way, thanks for visiting my site and sending me msg thru SMS but I didn’t understand the one when u said “You must be 12…” Were you guessing my age or something? LOL

  12. Paul Says:

    Hi Hezel,

Thanks for visiting Hill Country Thoughts!

What I was telling you was that you were 12 hours ahead time wise. That when it is midnight here, it is 12 noon where you are at.

    That make sense?

    Blessings,

    Paul
