Early Will I Rise and Give Thanks!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comGood Morning My Friends,

I woke up his morning at around 01:30 and just thought I would take a few minutes to let you know that since Friday afternoon I have been fairly sick, nothing to do with cancer. I am still cancer free!

It kind of knock me down and out till around 01:30 this morning and I am feeling much better now.

I have basically been resting and sleeping, a lot of prayer. Had a number of friends check in on me and lots praying.

I have had a combination of flu, stomach cramps that were almost now-stop until a couple of hours ago and a cold.

But I woke to a sweet presence of the Lord just a little while ago and I know that the Lord touch me and made me whole.

When I don’t make it to Church or Starbucks, you know I am sick :)

Seriously my friends, thank you who called, the others who left comments and for all the prayers.

I just want to Praise the Lord and exalt His Name and thank Him for His healing touch and for all those who He has brought into my life through the adventures of writing and blogging for Him.

    Brother Paul,
Sorry you’ve been down.Praise Jesus you are on the mend though!!He IS the Great Physician!!No church OR Starbucks??????:-OYou must not have felt well.:-)Speaking of Starbucks brother I thought of you as Steve and I were in Tigard,Oregon recently to get my first ever pair of bi-focals(I rejoice I have lived long enough to need them and that my overall eye health is excellent!!!).My husband loves coffee(I do not however)so we stopped at a Starbucks near the eye place and there were several writer types about.LOLAt least they looked liked writers to me.Probably were as Barnes and Noble was right next door(I had just returned a faulty clip on booklight there after getting my glasses).Anyhow,Steve ordered coffee and I had root beer……a real odd couple we are.You were thought of however as we made our purchases and left for home an hour away.Blessings brother.

Wow…blessings on you! Sorry to hear you were so ill. I hope that is all the flu you will have this year! Take lots of vitamins and minerals and eat good stuff…funny, we always had chicken noodle soup and grape juice when we were sick growing up…both they have found are indeed helpful to rid the germs. We also keep some sambuchol lozenges on hand for throat troubles…as soon as the throat tickles, get to sucking on those and whatever is there, goes away! They taste awfully good too…hard to think of it as anything but candy.

    Blessings,
    Elizabeth

Hey Paul! I was so glad to see your new post here, and to learn you’re already feeling better! That ol’ flu bug could have lingered a lot longer,eh? But praise the Lord, you’ve pulled through the worst of it. Take good care of yourself and take it easy this week while you recuperate. Also, please let me know when the next Writer’s Guild meeting is!!

    Hugs,
    Vicki
