Timing!!
Well, I am finally moved into my own room/study/office and it feels kind of nice to have my own room to hang my hat.
It is kind of nice to have a little quiet place, to relax, to think, write and meditate on the word.
I will have much to share over the next week or so, little things that the Lord has done and is doing and for that I am so very thankful.
If there is one thing that I have learned over the last three plus years is that timing is in the hands of the Lord. If we will but trust Him and allow Him to lead us and guide us through the valleys, we will see, that indeed, His plans are good plans.
Over the last three years I have gone through some real valleys in my life and some mountain tops and I have come to a place of realizing how precious those times with the Lord are, the times of intimacy, that enable us to walk with Him, for without that relationship, that intimacy and communion with the Lord, I would have perished a long time ago.
Learning to see with the eyes of the Lord, to allow the Holy Spirit to teach us through the things we go through prepares us for the walk that is set before us.
Then we become living epistles, written on by the Lord, that what was once theory becomes reality as it is written in our hearts and we are made pliable in the Hands of the Master Craftsman, who is molding and shaping us into those vessels that will truly reflect the Christ within, that our hope, our trust, our faith is in the finished work of the Cross!!
Rejoice my friends and know that the Lord has called us for a time such as this, to stand and be strong in the might and power of the Lord, that the life we live, we live in Him and the greatest mystery, is that in serving Him, we are set free indeed, to walk in all that He has for us.

It’s always great to have our own little spot to go to, especially when we are in need of quiet alone time away from everyone and everything.
God’s timing is always right; ours isnt. He prepares us in His way for all things, especially in our walk. I am so glad He is the one in control and not me. I am so glad that He knows better than me. I just need to work on letting Him have all the control instead of me…

Hi Shelley,
Amen! The Lord indeed prepares the way and the path before us and then leads us as we move forward in Him.
Thanks for blogging by. Be blessed and have a super weekend in the Lord!

Amein, brother! Well said. As hard as these valleys are, it qualifies us moreso to weep with those that weep and rejoice with those that rejoice! We can never see down the road as to how God will use everything in our lives for our best. But to those of us who are HIS, that is a promise! Nothing wasted in God’s economy!
So nice to have a place to call your room! That is lovely…and blessings to your daughter for including you…so many families would never do that. Your photo looked so nice and inviting there! I guess you will not be able to reclaim your doggie, however? Well, hope he has a good home where he is.
Blessings, Elizabeth

The gift of encouragement is an awesome gift to have! I, too, share your gift and find joy in lifting others up, encouraging them through the promises God has given to us, and watching God work in their lives. Thank you for your blogs, they are thought provoking and real! God bless you!

Hi Paul,
Glad you now have your own little corner.
I received your messages. Thanks for calling. I was out of town until late last night. I had a couple of gigs up in Central California. They went very well and seven women gave their lives to Jesus! Praise Him!
It’s going to be a hectic weekend, as Steve and I have lots going on. I will give you a call sometime next week and we can catch up.
Sounds like things are going well for you. I am so glad.
Peace and Blessings,
Luanne

Praise God for all that He has done in your life in the past few years and gives you a room of your own, set aside when you need that time reserved just for Him. Praise God for your daughter and her family…
Blessings,
Donna

Elizabeth,
Thanks!
It is indeed the valleys that prepare us for the mountain tops and the mountain tops prepare us for the valleys, to know that when we go through the valleys of life, He is there with us, leading us through it all.
He uses all that we go through to bring glory to His name. That we share from that which has been made real in our lives, out of reality and not theory.
I have seen over and over, how the Lord has and is using what I have gone through in the last three years to touch others, to give them hope!
We are in the hands of the Master artist, who is using the canvas our lives to touch others, and as you shared, nothing we go through is wasted. It all will be used to exalt the Lord.
Blessings my friend. Thank you for sharing from the heart!

Hi Vicki,
I am glad to have my own place too!
It gives me a quiet spot in the house, to get alone with the Lord, to shut things down and to read, to rest, to mediate on the Lord and hopefully grown in the Lord.
You are always in my prayers my friend. Look forward to hearing from you.
Also looking forward to that Coffee. Starbucks has become my home away from home. Not a day goes by, that the Lord opens the door to reach out to someone, or for them to share something that touches my heart also.
Be blessed my friend!

Hi Berrymom,
Thank you for blogging by and for sharing your thoughts.
There is such a joy in being able to encourage others, to lift them up and let them know, that are the Lord’s and that He is walking with them down this path called life.
My heart’s desire and what the Lord spoke to me, from the beginning of Hill Country Thoughts, was to be open, honest and real and allow Him to use it all to show the love the Father has for us, even in the darkest nights of the soul.
With your permission I would like to add you to my list of reads.
Blessings!

Hi Luanne,
Thanks for blogging by my friend!
I am just now getting caught up with everything, so I will be visiting more often.
That is awesome about the seven women given their lives to the Lord.
Yesterday, I went to a baptism at Calvary Chapel in Marietta, and it was awesome to see five young people get baptised, three teens and a young married couple. I was blessed.
Calvary Chapel is now where I am attending church.
Look forward to visiting with you on the phone. I am enjoying the books and the bible that I got through Amazon. It was a true blessing.
Blessings my friend,
Paul

Amen! There is no mistake that He has raised us up to bear fruit for Him that He might be glorified.
Soar on, Paul!
