Father, You Are Here, Always!!
One of the things that I have learned this day, is He is here, always!
In the midst of the battle of the day, when it feels as if our strength, our hopes, our dreams are ebbing away, that our heart crie’s out, “Father, Father, I need you, I want you.”
We cry out, “Lord, I feel so alone, I feel as one cast away but yet I know in my heart, that you here, always here.”
“Lord, it does not matter what my mind says or what my heart feels, you at all time are always here, just a breath away.”
That gives such peace and rest to our heart, to our soul, to our spirit, to realize He is always here!
We all have days we want to pack it in, give it up, let go but we are not our own. We are His and our Father watches over us at all times. He is but a heartbeat away, waiting on us to call Him!
If you this day feel like you are at the end, look up, draw strength from the Lord, from the Father.
Allow the Spirit of the Lord to work in you and know that He, at all times, is here!!

There are quite a few situations in life that make it very easy to feel so alone…and you are in one of them! But your rational mind knows that our FATHER GOD is always there…even if rather quiet at times. Even if our situation seems fairly ok…still with what is occuring in the world, and in our country, some days it is hard to keep heart…but scripture says that if you endure to the end…all will be well, right? I hope you will feel more of HIS arms around you and be given an even greater measure of peace soon! And sense that indeed you are really being carried. Not easy to see how today is going to work out for our good tomorrow! But the King is coming and it may not be so awfully long…we are told to watch and be ready!! I know you know all this…but wanted to encourage you a tad!

Oh, Paul, I needed to read this today. And I so loved what Elizabeth said above, too: “but the King is coming and it may not be so awfully long!” Everything around us and within us seems to get off kilter and scary at times. Life is hard, there’s not getting around it. But I recall that He is with me, and He is with you, Paul, my brother, and that is what we need to remind each other, and to take heart. The Lord God reigns even now. Thank you for the sweet reminder that God is just a breath away and we can draw strength from Him.
Keep writing for the King!

What a great post! I think it is important to remember, always remember, that God is will never leave us nor forsake us. He is always with us in good times and bad. Thanks for the reminder!

Paul…
I know this doesnt happen often…but our posts, once again seemed to have a connected thought…. perhaps it is just the overall feeling for the week…I have been feeling very alone trying to fight some battles on my own….which I know I never have to do, but it prompted me to share the story I did….Thanks for this post….
Blessings,
Donna

You know Paul, I am always so blessed when I come, but today I had a wonderful time catching up with you. I love it when I can stop and feel God’s presence with me. We simply don’t do it often enough. I love your new home on the net. It’s nice, simple and well it’s you. You know I would hope one day I would be in Kennesaw and stop at Starbucks, what a blessing it would be to say hello to you cowboy! God Bless and many ~hugs~

Good Morning Elizbeth,
Just getting caught with the comments. Been moving everything into my room here at my daughter’s house.
Got computer and everything settle in now and it is kind of nice to have my own place right now. I will put up some pictures soon
Indeed there days that I feel totally alone but at the same time I know that I am not because of my Heavenly Father.
I so appreciate your encouragement my friend. Means a lot, and that is part of what the Lord wants us to do, is to encourage one another in this walk called life.
Blessings my friend,
Paul

Hi Vicki,
Your welcome my friend!
Things do seem to get off kilter and scary at times, as you say life is rough but with the Lord, we have the strength to walk it because He never gives us anymore than we can handle with Him.
For indeed He is here at all times, even in the veil of tears, He is there.
Indeed, we need to remind one another, that He, the Lord reigns, and that which He has begun in us He will finish.
Each day, each morning, a new beginning, a fresh start, drinking from the wells of living water, from the Word.
Blessings my friend,

Indeed, it is important to remember that. He will never, never, leave us or forsake us when we call to Him.

Hi Donna,
It always amazes me how the Lord does things like that.
It gives confirmation, kind of lets you know that the Lord is speaking the same thing, to a lot of people.
It is hard sometimes to realize, that the battle is not ours, it is the Lord’s, that as we call upon Him, that He covers us and watches over in them midst of the battles of life and though we wounded at times, He is there to bring restoration as we call out to Him.
Learning that He is truly my all in all, gives comfort and strength.
Thank you for sharing your post for I know the things that you write come from the heart, things that the Lord has written there.
He writes these things in our lives so that we can share the reality of who He is.
Be blessed my friend,
Your friend and fellow-scribe,
Paul

Hi Nanzce,
Morning my friend!!
It is always a blessing to have you drop in and say howdy to me.
I glad you where able to spend a little time in “The Hill Country”. I am just now getting caught up after moving into my own room here at my daughters house. It is such a blessing.
I am glad that you can feel the presence of the Lord, for that is my hearts desire. That others can walk through the hills so to speak and find something that will encourage them, exhort them and let them know they are not alone, that our Father watches over us.
I like the simplicity of it all. I have had some very dear friends help me to get it set up and moved over and for that I am very grateful.
I sure hope you get to Kennesaw sometime. That would be awesome. Remember to look for a skinny
Friar Tuck with a cowboy hat!
Blessings my friend,
God Bless,
Paul

Morning Paula,
Thank you my friend!
Thank you for all the hard work that you have done to help me figuring some things with WordPress.
Bill and you and your family have come to mean a lot to me and I am thankful for the friendship and for the people the Lord has brought into my life through you all.
I really enjoyed going to the “Men Of Honor” Dinner with Bill last Saturday. It really meant a lot to me.
Blessings my friend,

You shared,
“We all have days we want to pack it in, give it up, let go but we are not our own. We are His and our Father watches over us at all times. He is but a heartbeat away, waiting on us to call Him!
Well said! I have fainted in days past due to striving in my own strength. It would be very sad to give up when the conclusion or answer is right around the next corner. Waiting upon the Lord for His timing is something I need to remember.
Thanx for the reminder.

Hi Paul! This is Anna from Starbucks. (the new girl) =) I just wanted to let you know I finally got around to checking out your site. It is great to know that while I’m behind the counter passing out coffee, the Lord is working in the individuals lives who are sitting in the cafe. Thank you for being so bold about who Christ is in you. It is definitely an encouragment. God bless!

Are you saying that you have now left Texas totally? Moving to Georgia for good, for now? I guess I thought you were moved into your daughter’s home when you went there earlier this year or maybe the end of last year…guess you are approaching now living there almost a year, is that right? Hang in there, friend. I was thinking today of how we are made for companionship…with others and with God…and especially for someone who had been married many years, I imagine you are going to feel a hole there at times…but we also know the Lord Himself is the “best hole-filler” that there is! I hope you are doing well today! Sounds like you have made LOTS of new friends…not that the old friends are not important, cause they are…but new ones can be a great blessing as well!

Good Morning Sparrow,
Thanks for flying by my friend
The one thing that keeps me going is knowing that which the Father has begun in me, He will finished.
His purposes will be accomplished and that gives me hope. His timing is everything, the waiting is here, but Oh, it is worth it.
Be blessed my friend!
May the Lord always keep His eye on the Sparrow, as you soar with Him.

Good Morning Anna,
What a blessed and wonderful surprise to have you drop by Hill Country Thoughts.
It is always a joy to be able to come and spend time each day at Starbucks and see what the Lord will do.
To me it is a joy. An opportunity to just be me in the Lord and hopefully be a candle lit to shine forth the reality of the Lord. The Lord never fails to give me someone to talk to, visit with, to listen too.
To be able to encourager others is such a blessing. It is also a blessing to know that the Lord has you on the other side of the counter also, for you too reflect our Lord.
Blessings my friend,
Paul

Hi Elizabeth,
Yep, I am pretty much saying that the season in Texas and a brand new season has begun here in Kennesaw, Ga.
The Lord keeps opening doors here. Opportunity to minister to others, to share, to encourage, to exhort others. To be part of a number of things that the Lord is doing in this area and watching the Lord change lives.
I am in my own room now, everything is set up and it is really nice. Social Security hearing is next month on the 14th.
I am doing well my friend, well indeed! The Lord knows how to fill the hole and to give hope and says simply trust.
Thank you my friend for stopping by and for always encouraging me. It means a lot.
Till later,
Paul
