Remembering!!
It has been awhile since “I sat in my booth here at Isaack’s Resturant” to write.
What a lot of great memories as I sat here at my favorite coffee shop. Watching old friends walk through the door and then see the surprise on their face when they saw me sitting here.
Been thinking about this week and the awesomeness of the Lord. How he hears and answers our prayers.
I was so afraid that this time in Texas was going to be such an emotional turmoil for me but the Lord has so flooded me with His presence, with His peace, that it is almost to hard to put into words.
Even yesterday, being one year since the divorce, a peace flooded my soul and the joy of the Lord was my strength.
Our choices are so important, they reflect our actions and I chose to focus on the Lord, on our children and the Lord stepped in.
Staying with my former in-laws has been awesome and I feel a peace with my former wife also.
I am beginning to realize more and more how very important it is for us to be daily focused on the Lord. To give Him the first fruits of our hearts. To allow the Holy spirit to draw us closer to the Lord, teaching us what it means to be intimate with Him.
I feel like the Lord wants to remind you my friends, how very important you are to Him and how much He loves you and cares for and watches over you in the darkest hour.
I am here to tell you He is here! Watching over you, watching over me, drawing us ever closer to Him.
Look to the Son, draw your strength from Him. Drink from the wells of Living waters, from the word.
Rise with strength my friends and be blessed of the Lord, for He has already prepared the way as you come unto Him!
