God Will Make This Trial A Blessing!!
A song that touched my heart and gave me hope and let me know that no matter what I am going through, no matter what battle I am fighting, God will turn them to blessings.
Another reason that this song is so special is the person who sang it at church, Gina, will be going through surgery for cancer this Tuesday, February 15.
As she sang the song, the presence of the Lord reminded us that no matter what we go through, Our Father will turn it into a blessing and give us hope and a peace, and let us know that He is with us each and every step of the way.
As Gina prepares for surgery I would ask that you would lift her before the Lord in your prayers and add her to your prayer lists, as will as her husband and children and parents.
Today was also a very special day in that I finally got to meet a very special friend, Vicki, a writer and a member of the Christian Writers Group, a columnist for Crossmap, a blogger and a woman with a heart after God.
It was such a joy and blessing to visit and talk, to share, to encourage one another in the Lord and have coffee at Starbucks. So Vicki, thank you my friend for coming to Kennesaw to visit and for being an encouragement to me. I want to encourage you my friends to visit Vicki’s blog, ”Window To My Soul” for I know that you will be blessed.
That is the awesome thing about our Father, that as we walk with Him, that He prepares the path before us. He opens the doors and gives us the strength to press through the things that we go through. Even when we “can’t see Him,” He is there.
So this Sunday has been very special to me. My heart and spirit, was touched by Gina as she sang “God Will Make This Trial A Blessing.”
And then to have the honor of meeting Vicki, to share and listen about what the Lord is doing. I too, ask that you lift Vicki in your prayers also as she goes through some tests this week. That you ask the Lord to touch her, heal her only as God can.
May we all come to a place that we can say “God Will Make This Trial A Blessing” and know that He will!
Till later,
Paul
