New Doors!!
The Lord continues to open new doors and new opportunities to meet fellow writers!
I had the Opportunity last night to attend the Christian Authors Guild in Woodstock, Georgia. Like everything concerning Georgia right now, especially Kennesaw and the surrounding area, there has been a real peace and presence of the Lord.
Actually the Christian Authors Guild meeting, was my first ever writing event that I have attended. They meet the first and third Monday at 7:00 PM and if your in the area I would encourage you to attend.
It was such a great way to make friends. I felt right at home, like I had been there before and I was able to jump in with both feet so to speak. I came away very encouraged and I hope that I was an encouragement also.
This morning, here at Starbucks, as I was sitting at the table, reading, writing and going about my morning, the Lord open the door for me to meet a new sister in the Lord and as we talked I shared a little about writing, blogging and she made the statement, “funny that you mentioned that.” She too was a blogger, a Christian, and surprise, a writer.
It just shows me that when we are where the Lord wants us, then we are in the right place. That our Father’s plans, will and purpose will be fulfilled as we learn to yield more and more each day to the Lord. That His purposes are being accomplished.
I feel as if I am walking on a new path, following new directions and that the Lord is getting ready to do a lot of new things and He is asking me to begin to step out. To put myself in the Palm of His Hand, letting Him set things in order so that I might please Him.
I don’t think there is any greater place that we can be, but where the Lord wants us. For indeed it is Him, that has begun to work in us His will and He will bring us into the fullness of His purposes and we will see the reality of who He is and whose we are.
Is it not awesome to know that we are called to be instruments in His hands, to learn to express His Heart, His words with others. To be a source of encouragement, of giving out of what has been given to us.
That the sum of the whole matter, that it is all about Him, about the Lord! For it is He that has called us and chosen us for a time such as this. It is the Lord that has carried us through the battles, through the wars, through the trials, who has given us the strength to walk, to stand in the power of who He is.
That He is indeed Lord, of Lords. King of Kings and that which He has begun in us, He will finish.
Till later,
Paul
